the victory of Pakistan against India, I came across an article titled as “The
Pakistan Enigma, Expect the unexpected”. I believe it’s not true to label it for
cricket only. Because country like us, who are suffering from terrorism for more
than 3 decades, have lost 80,000 lives and more than a 100 billion dollar, even
then we Pakistani have managed to stand on our feet. We progressed in every

discuss some of the very basic problems which this industry is facing. Unfortunately,
no one knows about these game studios. Even in Pakistan, a common man can’t imagine
that Pakistanis can produce such an amazing games. They don’t have any know how
about the gaming industry until or unless you are directly linked to this
field. So the question arises, why people of Pakistan don’t know about their own gaming potential?

No Paper Advertisement
One way or another these game studios
are able to make good games and are able to advertise them digitally, but there
are no posters or stickers around. No doubt, we Pakistanis use a lot of
internet, but still newspapers are essential part of our life. We read and take
the newspaper seriously in Pakistan. It is time to spread awareness among the
people from all walks of life so that people can learn to appreciate their own
products and recognize them.
2.
No Courses Offered by Universities
Universities
are offering undergraduate degree programs for game programming but it’s not
the case with Pakistan. It is a billion dollar industry waiting for game
programmers which Pakistan is not making enough. Universities are giving less
intention to this field.
3.
Lack of Gaming Conferences
There are
no seminars held by game studios for showing their contribution in the industry,
these seminars won’t just show their work, but they will also help in
encouraging passionate youngsters to come up with new ideas, and more
importantly develop the interest of game development in new generation as this
leads to the next problem.
4.
Interest in Game Development
Very few
people are interested in game development, it’s not because they don’t want to
make games, it’s because people are not aware that there are game being built
around them and they have platforms available.
5.
Payment Methods
Most of the
international games make money by In-app purchases or by just selling game
DVD’s for heavy money, as we all know second option is not feasible until someone
make a multimillion dollar game and do advertisement with the same sort of budget
and for the first way to earn money, Pakistanis just don’t do that ……. (Silence).
So,
it is need of hour to support our own gaming industry and all the GAMERS out
