8 Extraordinary Pakistanis- We owe them Respect

Every nation has their heroes. They are the true inspiration for every single person. This inspiration leads people to a wish to be like them, to do some great work which ultimately earns respect like those heroes. So, those nations who give their heroes importance, have a higher tendency to come up with a youth that is strong enough to not only lead the country but in rare cases lead the world. But we as Pakistanis, often forget our own unsung heroes and start idolizing others…

Let’s take a moment and explore it together:

Abdul Khaliq

 The Flying Bird of Asia” was a Pakistani Sprinter who won:
  • ·       36 Gold Medals 
  • ·       15 Silver medals
  • ·       12 Bronze medals 

Chaudhry Aslam Khan
A Pakistani police officer known for his tough actions against criminals. He started his career as ASI and served as SHO in Karachi and Baluchistan. He was the lead of LTF (Lyari Task Force) and ended Lyari Gang war. He was martyred in a bomb blast in 2014.

Mehak Gul
The youngest Chess player of Pakistan, who won World Women Candid Master at the age of 13 years. She hold the world record for arranging chess board in 40 seconds. She also represented Pakistan in World chess Olympia.

Suniya Sadullah

Pakistan’s first female Formula 1 engineer. She is the only one Pakistani who worked for Williams’s team. She is currently working as research analyst in IST Pakistan, in Aerospace Engineering. Who says Pakistani don’t allow their daughters to dream big?

Ahmad Mujtaba
The Wolverine”, who is a MMA fighter and won UGB, ONEFC MMA Championship. He made a record of wining 8/9 matches in his life. He have beaten Shanjivan Padwal of India.

Pakistani man sets Guinness World Record by:
  • ·       Smashing walnuts with his forehead.
  • ·       Smashing coconuts with his forehead.
  • ·       Smashing 77 cans with his elbow in one minute.

He has been showing his love for Pakistan by riding around on his bike. He is among those, who wanted to change Pakistan’s image single handedly. He traveled from America to Pakistan on his bike, Honda F4i, leading a campaign “A Different Agenda”. Are you ready to join him? 
Laraib Atta
Proud daughter of the nation, she is the only woman visual Effect Artist (VFX) in Hollywood. She did incredible work in following movies:
